This location provides a similar view of the Sign as seen from the Hollywood/Highland location, but is a bit easier to access without having to negotiate crowds and parking lots.

The Sign is visible along Gower from as far south as Melrose on most days. Some parts of the street run through residential neighborhoods, so please be careful to keep noise and disruption to a minimum.

For a fun Sign-oriented drive, begin at the southern most end of North Gower (at Melrose, just north of charming Larchmont Village) and drive north through Hollywood and up into the hills until Gower ends at Beachwood. Turn left and continue up Beachwood for more great Sign views.

Nearby attractions include the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, Paramount Studios and the Hollywood Walk of Fame. You'll also catch a glimpse of the famous Capitol Records building on your left as you near the 101 freeway.

GETTING THERE
The southern end of North Gower Blvd begins at Melrose Boulevard and continues north up into the Hollywood Hills. Click our handy link at right to get a detailed map and driving directions from Google.

PARKING TIPS
There is plenty of free and meter parking along the way, but be sure to read signs carefully as parking enforcement is extremely rigorous. Be sure not to block any driveways as local residents will be watching!
