Hollywood Sign is probably the most photographed celebrity in
Hollywood - a mecca for millions of fan and tourists who flock
to take its picture each year. Many, however , are
surprised to learn that it's illegal to hike to (or basically
get anywhere near) the sign , which is set well back behind
restricting gates , protected by security cameras and Park
Rangers. Like any self-respecting celebrity, the sign
proves frustratingly elusive... at least to those not 'in the
